Good afternoon everyone! How is your Tuesday so far? This morning was definitely an Action Wipe morning post Spin Class! I went to a new Instructor & she was great (as they all are!) I literally felt like I dove into a pool once I was done – or maybe I was wishing we had one to jump into.
Times like that, I am super relived to have my Action Wipes on hand to wipe off before getting back into my car to run errands…and I’m sure others around me are happy about it too. You’ll be seeing more coming your way with Action Wipes so get excited!
I also wanted to shout out to our new friend from Florida who took our class today and he totally ROCKED out the whole entire time! It was so much fun & motivating. My personal favorite was his sing along to Outkast’s “Hey Ya” soundtrack. His energy was truly contagious & just goes to show to enjoy what you’re doing (safely). Even if that means singing along while spinning – #betruetoyou!
Let’s get to today’s Power Plates Challenge shall we?
Today is MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS!
Yenory & I take turns posting videos by NOON to Instagram & The Challenge Loop App so make sure to be following both accounts so you don’t miss a move!

We challenge you to work these into your workout! Some options would be to do as many as you can in 30 or 60 second intervals with a rest in between or you can do them in between weight sets! Great way to get your heart rate up & work those muscles. #IWILL
Speaking of workouts – this weekend the boy & I hit the gym for some legs! I love love love doing Deadlifts because they are truly a powerful compound movement using the whole body.
My friends at Harbinger Fitness has us all prepped & ready with Wrist Stabilizers & (pink) Core Belt. I find that I like to wear the weight belt for good back & core support for heavier lifts. It also is a great way for me to make sure to focus on engaging my core to really stabilize my movements.
We moved into Squats next.
Then into Bench Step Ups with Dumbbells.
Keep that foot flat & use your Glutes (buttocks) and hamstrings to step up then drive the other knee upwards.
HumanX even featured CoreyCakes on their Instagram rockin’ the Wrist Stabilizers!
After a big leg day one of my favorite ways to refuel is with a big Powercakes Powerbowl! Recently I’ve been loving savory bowls…
This one was a Quinoa & Rice blend with green peas (my favorite) with dippy eggs & hummus! #FuelYourBody
Other than working out, fueling my body, & enjoying time with Family – I’ve been on a ROLL with business ideas! 2014 is going to be great & I can’t wait to keep you guys up to date!
A little sneak peek for you….
Working on an EPIC adventure with my girls Katie & Heather. We are planning something SO fun & I cannot wait to share it with you all!
Here is proof of our recent phone chat – I happen to love our Google hangouts when Katie’s little baby Rocco joins us!! How cute.
I’m off to get my room clean – not just your average clean – like, my mom won’t let me leave until most of my room is ready for donation! I actually can’t wait to really get rid of those high school clothes that I for some reason still have? Gotta love snowy weather & a reason to stay indoors!
Have a good one guys!
Be true to you,
xo Kasey
What is your favorite leg exercise? I love the feeling of powering through deadlifts.
Here is a link to proper form if you are thinking about working on them!
