I am saying goodbye to 2012 & thriving forward into 2013!
But, before I do this, I wanted to recap on how 2012 truly changed my life.
I could probably insert every single picture I’ve taken over the last year into this post;
but I wouldn’t want to take up too much of your time
So, I’ll stick with some high lights!
I had an amazing student teaching experience.
I was very lucky to have awesome co-op teachers as well as students that I will never forget.
I believe that I truly made an impact on them in a positive way.
Saying “see you later” to our students! – not goodbye.
I was even featured on the local news!
I am so thankful for my family & friends that were always so supportive of me.
I met my amazing boyfriend, Corey, who treats me like a princess.
He is the most caring, compassionate, genuine, & level headed guy I’ve ever met.
I am one lucky girl
We share a passion for health & fitness
but we are also opposite where if I need calmed down, he is the first person I go to.
It’s so nice to be in a relationship where I can be my 100% powercake self & he accepts it all.
In 2012, I also got to go to the Arnold Classic where I met so many amazing people.
Dana Linn – people judge her a lot but she is so down to earth and sweet!
Jamie Eason – She was my first inspiration ever in the fitness world.
Tosca Reno – she is so inspirational & such a huge supporter of what I do!
I was so blessed to meet her & develop and awesome relationship where I am now an Eat Clean Ambassador!
I also met the amazing Electra & the owner of FitFluential, Kelly Olexa! – what an amazing day!
Not only did I meet new people, but I got to experience it with 2 of my best friends Sarah & Courtney.
After graduating, my initial goal was to go to school for Health Coaching.
Right before I was about to register for the program, I got asked to speak at the
Fitness & Health Bloggers Conference in Colorado via FitFluential.
This experience truly changed my life.
It was in Colorado where I decided to 100% go for my business idea that I always wanted to achieve.
With the inspiration from my fellow FitFluential Ambassadors & the other’s I met there,
I came home & am now almost to the point of launching my business 6 months later.
I’ve also been able to raise money for some amazing causes.
I also competed in my 5th show – THE HEALTHY WAY.
You can see my Pro’s & Con’s of competing here.
I got to spend part of the summer at one of my favorite places; the beach.
With my bittie.
I also decided to take control of my health & figure out the route problem of my digestive issues.
I eat about 95% plant based now & have never felt better.
