Before I get to the Metromint Giveaway Winner, I wanted to recap my weekend of what I did & some eats!

I started off the morning yesterday by hitting up some local garage sales with Corey’s mom. I have found that I absolutely love it. I said yesterday, it’s like an adrenaline rush when you get an awesome deal! And awesome deals, I got Not sure if that sentence makes sense but here ya go;

For those who don’t know, I have this love with anything palm tree. I call it “mature palm tree” décor. The earthy tones are my favorite so when I saw that palm tree art  for $1.00 – I knew it had to be mine. Now I’m just looking for a cute burgundy frame to put it in!

Next to that is an awesome painting of PNC Park for my brother (which if he’s reading this, it is no longer a surprise) but it was brand new & .50cents! And you better believe I will let him know the cost because I’m super pumped about it.

I also got a sweater from this adorable lady who had so many of her hardly worn clothes for sale. I saw the vintage buttons & instantly loved it. What I loved even more was that it was half off of $1.00 – which brought it to .50 cents! #BOOM

I have to say that my favorite buy of the day was this 16 oz starbucks mug that cost me a total of .25cents! I’ve already used it to mix some chocolate chia pudding for dessert last night. Makes a perfect mixing bowl!

That chocolate chia pudding went perfectly on some rice cakes topped with
protein powder frosting (some protein powder mixed with a little water until thick)
& raw cashew butter for a yummy dessert!

Some other recent EATS of mine include;

My Butternut Squash & Basil Brown Rice Wraps –
this time I added roasted broccoli & red onion!

Big #POWERPLATE (plate because the boy doesn’t have big enough powerbowls for this girl!)
Base of massaged kale with peppers, roasted butternut squash, red onion, olives, hummus, & basil!
Topped with some dulse flakes.

Special shout-out to my girl Sarah who I met at the Marathon Expo!

She’s a fellow nooch lover & even brought a can of it for me to sign! #mademyday
She is competing in her first half ironman today & I’m wishing her all of the best!!
