Hi all! I hope you’re having a great week!
Today I wanted to share a new recipe that I made in succession to my Creamy Dijon Brussels Sprouts. I love brussels made any way, but these were so simple & delish.
Ingredients:
-
1 pound of fresh brussels sprouts
-
1.5 cups of Organic Tomato Basil Sauce
-
1 TB minced garlic
-
1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
-
1 tsp onion powder
-
Fresh cracked pepper
**You can find these at iherb.com coupon code XUG228
Directions:
-
Wash & Cut the brussels in half
-
Add to a big pot of water & bring to a boil.
-
Boil for about 7-10 minutes until bright green & cooked all of the way through.
-
Drain the brussels
-
Immediately toss in the rest of the ingredients & coat evenly.
-
You can eat right away or I swear they are even better the next day cold;because we all know I love cold food.
-
These are great alone or as a perfect side dish!
Aren’t they just the cutest? I got into a discussion with a girl at Whole Foods the other day about brussels – naturally. And we were saying how it’s funny the foods we love as adults but wouldn’t dare eat as kids!

Was there a food you disliked as a kid but now love?
Olives were another one of those foods for me – I used to think they were “eye balls” & now I can’t get enough!
