Good morning all!! How are you!? I am now home sweet home after one jam packed but amazing few days. I am not going to lie, it was not easy waking up this morning (a bit confused as to what time it is still) but I’ve got a class to teach today before I can get a power nap in! Winking smile Traveling can really take some energy out of you but when I recap back to my last few days, I couldn’t be more thankful for these opportunities.

I wanted to kickoff my recap & throwback to last Thursday where I had such an amazing time that morning at the Under Armour #WhatsBeautiful event at a local Dick’s Sporting Goods!

I got to lead employees through an awesome power hour workout on their lunch break.

Everyone did awesome & #mamacakes was an wonderful sidekick! It’s been pretty amazing to not only be able to share in the same passion for helping others, but also share these moments together with her.

I was super excited to my name printed on all of the posters & that’s when it really hit me…Kasey Arena = UA Trainer. As if it isn’t noticeable by my cheeeese face.

Leading a group of people in a workout is such an adrenaline rush for me. It’s like anything I was ever stressed about goes completely out the window & I am totally in the moment. Having a background in teaching/education has completely prepped me for this stage of my life & getting in front of a crowd. I always say that one of the hardest things I’ve done in college was teach in front of my peers. Basically all of your friends are your classmates so teaching in front of 50+ of them is definitely a bit nerve wracking. I think if you can do that & feel comfortable, it definitely prepares you to get in front of a crowd of people.

The set-up was super cool & the UA ladies worked super hard to make this event go so smoothly!

One of the stations was a team squat where they had to squat 20 times before running a group lap while holding a rope above their heads. They all did an amazing job of yelling out loud what number they were on so it was encouraging for everyone else around them.

Another station was Plate Pulls where we took paper plates and everyone had to pull them across half court while maintaining a nice strong core & tight plank walk!

Mamacakes & I ran around keeping everyone motivated & watching everyone’s form! You could feel the energy in the room. After their rotations between the 5 stations, we did group relay races to take it back to our childhood days.

Mamacakes led everyone through a cool down as we all jammed to Sara Bareilles “Brave”.This was a great first UA Event, everyone worked super hard, and I can’t wait to continue with them! Which leads me to an announcement….Where are my NY peeps at!?!?

I am so thankful for being a part of this amazing team! This is why being an Under Armour ambassador is so much more than just shoes & clothes. Their mission behind what they do is something I believe in & I can’t wait to see what else we can all do together as one big team.

I’ll end this the same way I ended our workout – around here we turn our “I can’t” into “I WILL”.

be true to you,

Red heart Kasey

Are you from NY? Let me know – I’d love to see you at the event!!
