Hiyo! It’s time for the DAY THREE RECAP of the 2015 Glow Retreat! Even posting about this I still can’t believe how it was already a week ago!
Sunday morning was our 3rd day of the Retreat & started off with some Purely Elizabeth NOMS with So Delicious Coconut Milk & Yogurt. Purely Elizabeth has an awesome new line of cereals which combine puffs and granola – definitely check it out!
After breakfast it was time for Heather to kick off the day with an awesome soul-nourishing workshop.
Then it was time for a Paper Plate workout which I streamed LIVE to Persicope!! If you don’t follow me yet – check it @Powercakes!
The workout was AWESOME! SO much energy and hard work.
I’ve uploaded the whole workout to YouTube just in case you missed it – you can still join in! ;]
Afterwards it was time to refuel so we grabbed some Kill Cliff bars & some more HOPE hummus with veggies.
Heather then brought us back into it before we did our signature Dear Body workshop. THIS is always the most moving part of the Retreat for me.
We take the time, listen to soothing music, & write letters to our bodies.
After a weekend of really looking inwards to ourselves, you can really bring up some things you’d like to say sorry to your body for and thank your body for. It’s always so amazing to hear everyone be so open and vulnerable – thank you all for that!
From there we finished the day with an awesome power yoga class which was a PERFECT way to end.
And who doesn’t end yoga with a team chant? ;]
Like I’ve said before, these women have completely filled up my heart with so much joy, passion, & strength over the weekend. I am SO thankful to do what I do and to be able to create a safe place to have this happen.
The last day was also Mamacakes birthday so once we got back into town we headed right out to eat dinner. I was so glad I got to spend the day with her on her birthday.
Corey met us for a walk around town – these two kill me how much they adore each other ;] I’m a happy girl..and kinda creepy as I snagged this picture.
Had to.
Before you know it, it was time to say see you later to my mom & Shannon the next morning. We took a walk down to the ocean so they could see how beautiful it was.
I have to admit, after I got back from dropping them off – I was super emotional. When you’re surrounded by so many amazing women and amazing things are happening – it’s ok to be sad when it’s over.
GLOW weekend has truly changed me and I am so blessed to be a part of everyone’s journey.
A HUGE shout out to our sponsors for making this weekend possible;
Be true to you,
xo Kasey
