Hi everyone!! I hope you had a great week. TODAY I am picking up my girl Heather from the airport & she’s staying with me for the weekend! I can’t wait to show her the city & we will definitely be posting about it on Instagram.
Today for Friday Favorites I wanted to share some recent favorites of mine!
After a long but awesome day yesterday & an powerful shoulder workout, these Single Serve Chocolate Chunk cookies (my original recipe made into cookies) with added banana, blueberries, & later topped with sunflower seed butter. #getinmybelly
My friends at Harbinger Fitness that I met at IDEA World sent me a box of goodies & these hand grips are my FAVORITE! They are great for pull ups & also help grip the weights for my workouts. What I like is that it’s a thin grip so they can flap onto your hand whenever you need them but can flap back onto your wrist to be out of the way when you don’t need them.
I did a great shoulder workout with a good 1000m row in the beginning & finished with a 1000m row. It’s funny because the first row feels great and then when you do it at the end after lifting – feels a little different when your muscles have been WORKED
Also rockin’ my favorite Under Armour Get Set Go shorts, spine shoes, & POWERCAKES TANK!
My new favorite Post-Workout meal is a POWER Squash Sandwich! Dear goodness I am so in love with these.
I’ve been taking two pieces of Sami’s Bakery Millet & Flax bread (found at a local store) with hummus, roasted squash (DO THIS! It makes the best texture), spinach, mustard, & adding some type of protein (salmon is pictured above). Then I grill it between my new $1 waffle maker & Panini press!
This one was stuffed with leftover mahi mahi, kabocha squash, greens, & avocado! SO GOOD. I highly suggest making a pressed sandwich! Just grab any ingredients YOU like, add some squash, & press! It may change your life.
My last but not least recent favorite, steamed coconut milk latté! I met a girlfriend for coffee the other day at a local coffee spot & they have full fat 100% coconut milk that they steam for coffee! I swear it was the best thing I’ve ever had when it comes to coffee; & that’s pretty huge to say coming from this coffee lover . I just added some cinnamon & a few drops of liquid stevia… I was in heaven. It’s always nice to catch up with a friend over a good coff.
You can find the sunflower seed butter & liquid stevia at my go-to store Iherb.com $5-10 coupon code XUG228 for first time users!
I’m off to pick up my girl from the airport before we go KAYAKING!
Enjoy your Friday!!
