HELLO everyone!! Gosh these past few days have just flown by, although I can never remember what day it is, I know that it’s been a few since I’ve caught you up on all of this excitement happening! Currently I am hanging in the lobby of our awesome hotel after a long but exciting day here at the IDEA WORLD convention. We’ve been going since 6am and it’s been non-stop full of meeting new people, taking workout classes, listening to lectures, & enjoying ourselves. I am not going to lie – I am BEAT. Like, my feet are sore from tennis shoes – that’s when you know you’ve been on them all day Anyway, before I get to the recap of the past two days of adventures here in LA, I wanted to share some exciting news as to why I may be rocking Under Armour for some time to come.
So excited to announce that I’ve been chosen as an Under Armour Ambassador!
More details to come soon but I am beyond appreciative for this opportunity. The #WhatsBeautiful campaign & the #IWill challenges that I worked on with UAWomen & @FitFluential not only helped me become more confident in myself but it empowered so many women to be true to themselves. Showing up to Cali Tuesday with a package waiting for me full of this amazing apparel made me cry like a kid on Christmas morning (and yes I put some of the new gear on & went straight down to the fitness center since there was enough adrenalin pumping through me I think I could’ve run a marathon or at least attempted). Can’t wait to see what’s in store & keep everyone updated & inspired! Thank you UA!

So when it comes to traveling, I get kind of anxious. Packing like freaks me out – only because I tend to pack WAY more than I need. I made sure this time to be extra organized early enough to relieve the stress and also get some meals & snacks together for the trip. Because we all know at 4am the morning of your flight, the last thing you may feel like doing it making meals for the day.
Enter the OVERNIGHT CHIA OATS – my kind of prepping!
*Overnight oats with chia, nut milk, cinnamon, stevia, blueberries. & a BIG BLOB of peanut butter underneath! Made this the night before & then just stored in the fridge for a quick go-to meal on the plane.
Speaking of the plane, I can’t get over the views. This was us landing in Vegas for our layover. Sometimes I just like to take a minute to look outside and appreciate the world we live in. It’s so beautiful!
After a layover & $20 lost in the slots later, we jumped on our plane headed to LA!
POWERCAKES has arrived!
Loving my 31 bag that we ordered from my girl, Amy!
After we were settled in, we found a local spot called Dr. J’s in LA.
Jam packed with every organic food you could think of.
I got the quinoa bowl with edamame, cilantro, peas, & carrots with a side of amazing tea.

Wednesday Highlights:
Story Time – I googled a few places to grab breakfast on Wednesday morning since we thought it would be fun to walk to a place to eat. Well, the 1.5 mile walk that seemed like no big deal, turned into a 30 minute hustle through the city as we were starving, sweating, & starting to lose hope that this place existed.
We FINALLY came across the Pacific Dining Car which is a historic place in LA. We didn’t realize the prices were a bit high but honestly at that point, we STARVING so anything was fine with us! The food actually was really good & the service was even better. I got an avocado scramble with strawberries and delicious coffee that they were not stingy on refilling. Hellooooo caffeine!
Oh, and did I mention the traffic in LA never stops? Crazy.
I used to complain about it in Pittsburgh but now I have nothing to complain about!
Did I also mention that my mom likes to take random pictures of me?
Ha, this one kinda made me laugh.
Obvi had to snag a pic in front of Casey’s – even though the spelling is a bit off
Now for some scenic shots;
I have this deep love for Palm Trees so I was in my glory.
We then headed towards the Staples Center,
along with every 12 year old little girl and their mother.
Little did we know that One Direction is in town for 4 nights.
I can’t lie – I dig the “What makes you Beautiful” song that
I did Zumba to in my PE classes so I gave them a thumbs up.

After our adventure around town, we met up with some friends & got our badges!
Our friends from home! My boy Jesse & his family.
My girl @shindigcj who TOTALLY made my day!! She is so adorable & new to the training career!
Got to meet the adorable Shannon from BadAssFit!! Also ran into the lovely ladies Gina & Julie, but didn’t get a chance to get a picture!
So glad I finally got to meet the adorable Kelli Davis from IDEA.
Kelli, myself, & mamacakes.
So glad to be spending this time with my mom – it’s been a while since we’ve traveled together so it’s exciting to be experiencing this together. She has been an IDEA member for 17 years so she is loving how this has come full circle and my involvement with them. Such a cool moment for us!
My mom, me, & Jesse’s family all headed to the Yard House for dinner.
California Roll was split for an app! SO GOOD.
My little Tricia (Jesse’s sister) got a burger bigger than her & you bet she finished the whole thing!
I got an awesome greek salad with grilled shrimp.
Told you I’m a sucker for sea food.
I carried over my organizing goals into Cali, so I made sure to lay out my outfit for the next day.
I am in LOVE with my Inspired Advisor Tank! The words are perfect.
Of course I had to match some of my new UA gear & be as bright as possible.
All in all, it was a great first day filled with friends, family, & new experiences.
Keep an eye out on Instagram, Twitter, & Facebook for continued updates!
I’ll be posting about today, tomorrow.
Have a great night!
Be True To You,
Kasey
