hi all!
Hope you’re enjoying your week!
If you missed my post about how I broke the myth on “eating after 7pm”
check it out here!
I wanted to share with you a back work out that I did the other day!
Lately, I’ve been doing TABATA intervals similar to BODYROCK.TV
& combining them with weight lifting.
For example, for 1 round I will do Burpees
& then the next round I will do a weight lifting exercise.
I usually write up about 6 different exercises to complete within my circuit.
Each exercise is 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest
& I do about 40 rounds total!
(= 20 minutes)
For back the other day I did
Burpees
Lat Pull Down
Mountain Climbers
Burpee into a dead lift
(I’ll have to video this one,
it’s probably my new favorite movement!!)
Low pulse air squats
TRX Rows
(to target upper back)
for all exercises I do as many reps as possible in 20 seconds
& then with weights, I use a moderate weight.
So basically I utilize body weight, weight lifting, cardio, & TRX.
talk about switching things up!
Here’s a progress picture of my back;
and yes, I’m holding my iPhone on my head.

So I stocked up on a few new goodies!
(keep an eye on that COCONUT KEFIR;
I got a great recipe coming up with that!)
Now for my new clean recipe!
1 can of tuna
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup toasted walnuts
(I toasted taw walnuts on a medium heat pan
on the stove for a few minutes until brown)
2 TB Capers
1 TB Dijon Mustard
1/4 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
3 TB Nutritional Yeast
(optional, but totally worth it!)
Chop up your veggies & mix them in with the other ingredients!
*I always love the bottom of the celery
because it looks like a flower
I enjoyed this Tuna Salad two ways:
1) Mixed up in a bowl with some roasted veggies!
2) spread onto a NORI POWER ROLL
with avocado, and tomato!
It was such a good combo!!
Hope you enjoy your day!!
xoxo
Have you tried a POWER ROLL yet?
So happy I discovered how to use NORI in place of a wrap!
