Birthday Weekend & Challenge Winner!

Hi all!
It’s my 23rd birthday!!
I have to admit, I feel a bit older now!
But I’m not complaining

I had an awesome weekend;
my family from South Carolina was in to visit!

*I had to snap a picture of my 88 year old Aunt Rita
who looks & acts like she’s 35 ;
Especially with her rockin red hair!
But our boys sure do know how to be gentlemen

So how about my aunt surprised me with floor seats to
the Tim McGraw & Kenny Chesney concert!!


I have to say that Tim Mcgraw is one of the few men that can
pull off white jeans, white v-neck, & a black cowboy hat.

The next morning my #FitFluential boyfriend
& myself hit up the gym for a Back & Bicep day!

I also ran 2 miles since I'll be running a 5k tomorrow
for the 4th – and we all know that powercakes is no runner;
but I sure do pretend to be!

After spending the rest of the day/night with the fam;

The next morning I started the day with some CHIA OATS!
(oh, how I’ve missed them!)
Loving that my tummy is totally handling grains like a champ lately

Then I headed to the gym with my 15 year old cousin Kelsi!
We had an awesome shoulder work out where I taught her all about proper form
& super-setting! She was a tough little cookie!

And she’s got a pretty decent tricep muscle if I do say so myself!
I treated her to a Starbucks afterwards and I got an iced black coffee
while she got a frap! #coffaddicts

Dinner was a FLANK STEAK SALAD
with feta – thanks to PAPACAKES!

We spent the afternoon at the pool before heading to a baseball game!
It was a great way to spend the weekend with my favorite people!
