hi all! While I’m traveling to NYC for the Under Armour What’s Beautiful Macy’s Event with mamacakes (which you can still register for!!) – my friend Abby Kail, from the Vintage Button Photography, is offering a GIVEAWAY to a local Pittsburgh reader!

Abby is a wonderful mother to 3 adorable babies & also a photographer. It’s truly her passion to capture the smallest of details in her photos that people may not notice at first. I’ve known Abby for a few years now & from the moment I met her, I was drawn to her positive & loveable light.

I recently had the opportunity to shoot with Abby & I was SO excited! I always saw her work & thought one day we’d make a good team for a photo shoot since we both have similar visions.

Here’s a little bit from Abby:

“I started shooting in 2008. I have been and will continue to grow my talent and creativity. I started my business as a way to help advocate for life. The vintage button Photography stands for just that -button is for button nose babydoll. I wanted my business name to reflect my purpose.”

“Finding my niche in family every day life and catching the details of each day has become a passion of mine. As a mama I want to be able to savor the details of today so that one day I’ll be able to joyfully revisit them. I do this with film and believe it tells your stories so well.”

Um, how cute?

Abby really wanted to document all of the things I love & me just being me. It was awesome to feel so at ease with the whole photo shoot! We started outdoors with some “casual” shots then did some fitness shots too (on tomorrow’s post). Then we moved into the kitchen where she filmed me making powercakes – how cool? It was so fun just to chat & laugh while she took pictures.
