Hey all!
Got a phone call yesterday to be a
Phys. Ed. Substitute Teacher
for 2 weeks at the high school that I graduated from!

Super ironic & random, but I start today at 7:20am!

oh, the life of a post grad & entrepreneur  Winking smile

I la la la looove teaching, don’t get me wrong.
But after graduating I really focused on working hard starting my own business.
(more details to come with that) & becoming a personal trainer,
so teaching in a school was on the back burner.

I feel like through my blog, I still am teaching!
Which I love to help & educate others regardless of where I am;

But when this opportunity arose, I couldn’t pass it up!

Can’t complain;
Good thing I like a challenge & love my Alma Mater!

So while I’m back to teaching for the day…
let’s talk #plantPOWER beverages!

  1. Oh man, Drink Chia was one of my absolute favorite things from the Healthy Living Summit. I keep saying I need to order more, but that silly little thing known as grad school keeps getting in the way of my Drink Chia budget. It’s SO good!

    I’ve never tried Drink Chia, it looks amazing! My favorite power beverage is vegan chocolate milk! It helps my muscles recover post-workout

    Good morning. Although I’m still pretty new to adapting a clean and healthy lifestyle, I’ve been loving every minute of it. I’m not entirely sure if I have yet to try a plant power beverage but I know I sure do love chia seeds. I put them in almost all my food and in alot of my beverages as well and have been dying to try the honeysuckle pear chia drink!! Following you on instagram has given me motivation for a lot of my meals and kept me on track, so for that I would like to thank you :).

    My favorite green drinkis 1c water, handful spinac,kale, chard,1/4c dandelion, frozen banana, hanfuk frozen cherries, tsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 2tbsp almond butter, 1tbsp chia seeds , 2 tbsp unproces edagaveand 2 cups of ice…….so delicious

    Man! I would love to try those! I like to make smoothies out of frozen banana, greek yogurt, peanut butter and protein powder! YUM!

  11. I am terrified of chia and here is why (PLEASE don’t laugh…lol). Because I’m in the Army, I am afraid this is going to cause me to come up positive in a urinalysis. So, I am having an appointment with an Army nutritionist to go over all these awesome foods I want to try and that have the potential of giving a positive urinalysis. I know, I’m paranoid! 🙂

    But I do love my smoothies. And I love you can add basically anything to them. I actually posted four recipes today because I am in detox mode!

    I love kombucha drinks and mama chia! I have never seen Drink Chia in San Diego but I would love to try it!! 🙂 I’m also very fond of your apple pie cleanser drink!

    My favorite drink is kombucha, it taste like a treat but it’s heathy I love that!! I’ve never tried chia drink, but I love to!!

    Oh, the possibilities are endless! I LOVE Kombucha, it’s my favorite! And I love plain old water, especially Evamor bottled water, which is highly alkaline and fantastic. I also start every day with an ACV drink…2 T ACV, 1 T apple juice (not from concentrate), about 5 drops vanilla stevia, and water. I down that followed by a cup of coffee and I’m good to go!
    And I’ve never seen drinkchia before, but I have seen Kombucha with chia (which I have yet to try). I put chia seeds in my protein shakes/pudding every day. Love!!!

I simply xombine 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (ACV) with 8 oz. water.     i live in a veryyyyy small country so we don’t have all these amazing drinks… but i love drinking tea or juice (like today i drank carrot juice). I just bought for the first time coconut water last month (because i couldn’t find it before…) and i loved it but it is quite expensive so i’m not buying it very often…

    Before I even read your post, I stopped into my local Protein Bar (awesome restaurant popping up all over the country now!) and picked up some of their raw juice – kale, spinach, lime, cilantro, and pineapple. So delicious! I wish I could afford a juicer to make me one EVERYDAY because I am seriously obsessed!

    I actually start every morning with an ACV drink – i mix my fitmixer aminos and 2 tbsp of ACV. I love the energy and help with digestion it provides!

    I am also a HUGE fan of Kombucha, especially the ones with Chia variety – Raspberry Chia and Black Chia are my favorites! I would love the opportunity to try Drink Chia – a huge chia fan 🙂

    This may sound odd but I love Celestial Seasonings Apple Cinnamon tea with some Vanilla Stevie and some Apple Cider Vinegar mixed in! It’s a great fall morning version of PowerCakes Apple Pie Cleanser drink!

    Coffee, water, coconut water, kombucha, tea, almond milk, etc. the list goes on and on!! I’ve never tried Chia though…I haven’t seen it in Canada!

    That drinks sounds awesome. I would love to try it. My favorite plant power beverage is a green smoothie. Those things are amazing. Kale, frozen banana, nut butter, 1 cup almond milk and a scoop of Sunwarrior.

    My usual fave is a blueberry protein smoothie but this week I found a superdelicious Cinnamon Fig Smoothie recipe…oh yummm!
