  1. I absolutely have to try this! Great nutrition stats and sounds (and looks) yummy!! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  2. Hey! I tried making this today…but mine did not turn out AT ALL 🙁 I must have done something wrong. The icing tasted like straight up stevia and plain yogurt. Do you think it would be better if I used a different filling? I had to throw it away; maybe I used too much sweetener? But I L-O-V-E the idea! It was so creative! And I am going to try and make it again for sure using a different filling 🙂

awe I’m sorry it didn’t work!! Everyone else seems to be ok with the recipe, maybe it was too much stevia for you? hm! I wish I could send you a fresh one!! ;]

  3. Lauren says:

Hi Kasey! I’m loving your site and would really like to try this. Is there something I can sub for the pumpkin? I’m allergic to it :o( Maybe applesauce or banana? Have you tried it that way? Thanks for any help!

  4. Tracie says:

I followed the directions and my batter came out salty. Should I half the baking soda/powder next time?

    • nora says:

ya i had the same problem with it being extremely salty…..2 tsp or each of those seemed to be a lot after looking at it so next time im gonna half or even quarter it and see if it helps.

      • Kasey says:

Sorry about that, totally just realized I think I made an error with typing the recipe! I fixed it! :]

        • Nora says:

yay!!!! i was so dissappointed cuz i knew it was gonna taste so good…so im definelty remaking this one tomorrow….the greek yogurt filling seriously could pass for cream cheese frosting….love it!!!

    • Kasey says:

fixed it! sorry for the typo!!

So I pinned this recipe on pinterest a while ago thinking that I really wanted to try it, but then I completely forgot about it. But i saw it yesterday and realized I had everything to make this and i am SO GLAD I DID. this is seriously fantastic. i absolutely love it!! perfect fall breakfast, especially since the frosting tastes exactly like cream cheese frosting! 8. Kayla says:

Tried this tonight, I am very used to cooking with stevia, eggs, pumpkin, oats and what not so I was excited to see a new method of preperation with them all. Unfortunately I wasn’t as pumped up about them as everyone else seems to be 🙁 Possibly the Chia seeds… that texture may not be my ‘jam’.

Anyway, thanks for providing healthy alternatives for all us healthy eaters 🙂

  9. Kasey says:

Awe, sorry to hear that Kayla! Chia seeds are a different texture so I can totally understand. Sorry it didn’t work out for you!!!
