Hi all! Happy Wednesday! Today I’ve got some AWESOME & exciting news to share with you! My girls at @average2athlete, Kayte & Julia, and myself are collaborating with the Civilian Military Combine and we want YOU to race with us on May 17th!!
Whether you’re a first time participant or a seasoned vet, we invite you to join us on May 17th as we conquer the CMC in Camelback, PA. We can’t think of a better way to bring together all of our followers than teaming up to crush a race (and celebrating afterwards, of course).

“CMC is the world’s fastest growing community of Hybrid Athletes, combining 4+ miles of obstacle racing with our revolutionary first challenge, The PIT.”
More Information About The Race:
The PIT is CMC’s first challenge, requiring both physical and mental fortitude. This 5-minute AMRAP workout (As Many Reps As Possible) consists of athletic, military-inspired, functional fitness movements designed to level the playing field between endurance and strength athletes. Your teammates, the spectators, and our DJ’s beats are your inspiration. Come prepared, put your strategy to the test, and dominate The PIT!
Once you conquer The PIT, prepare to endure a 4+ mile military-inspired obstacle course.

The beauty of Civilian Military Combine is that you, the Combiner, can determine the degree of difficulty. From seasoned warriors looking to prove themselves to first-timers seeking a weekend challenge, you have the freedom to set your own pace and intensity in both The PIT and the Course.

Since we’re on this fitness theme –
let’s get to our Power Plates Challenge! Today we’ve got PLANK JACKS.
Start in a plank position & do a “jumping jack” with your legs! You can also do this one leg at a time. I did these last night at a local College during my Power Hour event & they did awesome! More on that event tomorrow.
