Hey all! Happy Friday! It is a bit crazyyyy, in a good way, over here as I prep for one of my best friends, Courtney’s, wedding weekend!
I’ve known Courtney since we were little “babies” in college! We were in the same major & she was my gym training buddy. We instantly hit it off and she even introduced me to my boyfriend, Corey. Small world huh? I truly think it’s such an honor to be asked to be in someone’s wedding & I couldn’t be more happy for her & her (soon to be) Husband, Ryan!
Each bridesmaid was in charge of making cookies for her cookie table (I think it’s an east coast thing?) and I rose my hand for Macaroons! My sister in law Angie has a super simple & easy recipe from her late Grandma. We baked our little hearts out last night:
The recipe is SO simple. Juts combine 1 can of condensed milk taking out 2 TB (you can find and organic brand at Whole Foods) and 1 bag of shredded coconut. Add a little almond extract (like 1 tsp) and put onto PARCHMENT paper to bake for about 11 minutes. Let cool to set up & top with a cherry or drizzle with chocolate like we did. SO GOOD!
Other than food, Courtney has some adorable Fall decor happening at her wedding. Check out a sneak peek of her center pieces!
I’m a sucker for anything involving candles. I love how they can easily calm you down after a long day. With all of the wedding prep, it’s like my friends at Old Factory candle completely read my mind when asked if I would provide an honest review of their products.
They gave me a choice between all of their sets and I chose Coffee House for the coffee lover in me.
The Old Factory Candle Gift Sets each contain 3 different scented candles. I got Coffee Bean, Hazelnut, & Chai Tea.
I also love knowing that they are clean burning Soy Wax to have inside of the house.
Each candle burns clean and for 20 hours.
They are sold exclusively on Amazon.com and are hand-poured in the USA with natural soy wax, self-trimming cotton candle wicks, and premium fragrance oils.
Speaking of weddings, these would make a super cute wedding gift tucked into a basket with a coffee shop theme! Shout out to Old Factory Candle for sending this awesome gift set, I really appreciate it!
Have a great start to your weekend guys & be true to you,
xo Kasey
Tell me! What is your favorite candle smell?
I’m a huge fan of anything sugar cookie as well ;]
