Hey friends and happy Tuesday! If you follow me on Periscope or YouTube, you may have recently seen that I totally cracked the screen of my phone.
This isn’t my first time…up until now I’ve had 2 screens fall & crack. Go me!
The most recent time was whenever I was walking back from training my athletes outdoors and we were headed back on a paved road. I went to look at the time (Kasey needs to get herself a watch) and my phone instantly slipped and hit the concrete which made it look like a lovely spider web.
My friends at Corning® Gorilla® couldn’t have popped up at a more perfect time to chat about how we tend to put our tablets & phones at risk, especially while working out.
My family & I have been long time fans of Gorilla Glue, partly due to my clumsy tendencies.
Now, Gorilla Glass has a product called Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 which is the toughest cover glass yet. Gorilla Glass 4 performs up to 2x better than competitive glass designs in devices dropped from 3 feet high.
With Gorilla Glass 4, the focus is on improving damage resistance against sharp contact, such as a drop on asphalt, concrete (raises hand!) , and other rough surfaces which it dramatically improves protection against drops.
Corning Gorilla Glass has been used on nearly 4 billion devices from 40 major brands. Find out if your device has Gorilla Glass [here].
I personally always have my tablet with me while training to use an interval app for certain workouts so today I’m pumped to share one with you thanks to my friends at Gorilla Glass!
30/10 Gorilla Glass Workout
Do each exercise for 30 seconds with a 10 second rest in between each.
Complete 3 Total Rounds with a 60 second break in between each round.
1) Monkey Jumps Side to Side
2) Bear Walks With Push Up
3) Crab Walks With Toe Touches
4) Donkey Kicks With Knee Drive
5) Spider Burpee Plank Twists
Incorporate this into your weekly routine and you’ll be surprised at what an amazing workout you can get with just your BODY!
I often tell clients that challenging your body is a great test of strength and a test of the work you put into training. I love to see where I’m at with how many push-ups I can do or how many squats I can perform.
Try it out & let me know how it goes! You guys rock.
Be true to you,
xo Kasey
