World Oceans Day 2019 with adidas

I’ve loved the ocean ever since I was a kid. There’s something about the calming presence it brings along with the clarity it provides.

I spent the first 25 years of my life living in Pittsburgh before moving to Rhode Island with the hubs & pup for the last (almost) 5 years.

When Corey was applying for Jobs in the East Coast, we took one look at a picture of Rhode Island and I instantly was sold by the amount of ocean that we’d be surrounded by.

I’m within walking distance of the water and about 15 minutes from main beaches like Newport. If I want to go to the bay during my lunch break, a 15 minute ride puts me near the water to help clear my mind.

Nothing like flowing through some yoga by the breezy ocean in these adidas cross-back tank floral high-waisted ⅞ tights.

There’s days where I train my athletes in the sand for workouts or take family walks by the water in my favorite cropped hoodie...there’s truly nothing like the feeling that ocean breeze brings.

It even brings along some new friends.

June 8th is World Oceans Day, which brings awareness of the vital importance of our oceans and the role they play in sustaining a healthy planet.

My friends at adidas have an official collaboration product line between adidas and Parley for the Oceans, an environmental organization that addresses environmental threats towards the oceans, through ocean plastic pollution.

adidas Parley uses plastic from the oceans and creates sustainable footwear and apparel so you can feel good about the fabric you are wearing that’s making a difference.

How can you help? On June 8th (and any day for that matter!) head to the water to clean up or even just take part in picking up trash and plastics along your community before it gets to our oceans.

Leave a comment below about why you love the ocean?

Be true to you,

Xo Kasey
