It’s beginning to feel a lot like the holidays!
As much as I am a full summer lover, once there is a chill in the air and the leaves start to turn, I definitely embrace all things cozy.

There is something so comforting about layering up and heading out for a walk, hike, or some woodsy adventures just taking in the scenery.
Anytime my pup & I head out for walks, I always rock layers because it’ll start out chilly but I usually end up pretty warm by the end of the walk.
There’s nothing better than having or giving high quality gear that is truly made for this weather.
As I get older, I find that when it comes to the holidays, I either give or ask for all things practical.
I’d rather purchase someone an item they can wear throughout the colder months as well as something that will last them a long time.
For me, I wear athletic clothing each and every day, and even for those that don’t, there are some items I wanted to share that would be a perfect gift idea for a Friday night football game, hike in the woods, or a cozy night by the fire.
Looking for the perfect layered up look for yourself or for loved one this holiday season? Adidas & I have you covered, literally!
1) ESSENTIALS DOWN JACKET ($90)
This jacket is going to be A GO TO for you. I am SO obsessed with the basic 3 stripe adidas design down the arms & athletic cut yet puffy look.
I personally got a size large because I wanted to be able to layer underneath & I will say that I’m glad I did.
This jacket has awesome front pockets, made from recycled materials (heyo!), and also will shed rain and snow during a misty hike.
2) ESSENTIALS COMFORT ELONGATED 1/4 ZIP SWEATSHIRT ($55)
I am living for any oversized sweatshirt during the chilly months & this adidas elongated ¼ zip is PERFECT to wear paired with leggings on a walk through the woods, cozy on the couch, or layered under your jacket.
I went with a Medium on this one and I’m glad I did. I’m 5’8 for reference and the length & sleeves are definitely long enough on me.
I absolutely love this power berry color (obviously anything with POWER in the title I’m down for) and the ¼ zip is one of my favorite details in a sweatshirt.
3) ALPHASKIN COLD.RDY LONG TIGHTS ($80)
Y’all….you want these. Let me just say, I’m a bit of a tights “snob” as I tend to be very particular on how high the waist band is, how they fit, & the length. I’m a tall gal and these CHECK EVERY BOX.
I’m LIVING for this double lined HIGH waist band that literally hugs you and comforts you to the core.
PLUS they will literally keep you so warm that you may not even need the sweatshirt ;] but seriously, so much quality in one piece.
They’ve got a drawstring in the front for some added comfort & security.
They also have a secret storage so you can slip your lip balm or house key into the small pocket on the back waist.
These adidas training tights are compressive so they will help you feel supported while also being insulated with fabric that helps you stay dry.
These hit full length on me and again, I’m 5’8 and love where they cover, especially for colder weather.
4) ULTRABOOST 20 SHOES ($180)
When it comes to adidas shoes, you cannot go wrong with ultraboost.
These are super true to size for me (I’m a women’s 8.5) and I’ve been looking to get an all black pair of shoes that I don’t have to worry about staining if I want to wear them in the woods.
Ultraboost give you support but also a ton of comfort with their responsive cushioning that keeps transitions smooth and the energy flowing.
I was worried with the black on black but I love how it all goes together and truly matches with any of my outfits for training clients, wearing out to brunch, or training myself.
5) GLAM ON BEANIE ($28)
To top off the whole look, a beanie is SO perfect to keep you warm yet offer a complete styled outfit.
Before every outdoor walk in the colder months, I grab some type of beanie to toss on to stay warm.
This Glam Beanie is a perfect combo of style & comfort with it’s super stretchy yet soft fabric.
You can’t go wrong with any of these items that could complete your perfect athleisure holiday look.
I live in anything and everything comfort, especially when trying to stay warm, & you’ll find that all in this combo.

Happy Holidays!
