Happy Wednesday, friends!
Today I wanted to take a few minutes to share how thankful I am to be featured in a recent Women’s Health Magazine article titled, “15 women share advice that helped them develop a better relationship with food & their bodies.”
Y’all know I am ALL about sharing advice, tips, or stories to develop healthier relationships with food & your body — hence Heather & I’s book, BODYpeace.
Sharing something like this to an outlet like Women’s Health is SO needed whenever we’re constantly seeing things around this time that are so extreme when it comes to health & fitness.
I feel so grateful to share a bit of my story, my struggles with food/body images over the years, & share some advice about what helped me on my journey of #bodypeace (that is still an ongoing journey!)
One of my direct quotes from the article…
“I think it’s important to choose foods you enjoy, find a balance of those foods that works for you, & eat to FEEL good in your own skin. Once the stress of rigid rules starts to diminish and your mind is at ease, I swear your happiest, healthiest body emerges.”
There are 14 other women featured in the article, all with UNIQUE stories that can inspire so many others showing that it really comes down to being true to yourself & finding what works for YOU.
Every day I get the opportunity to help others along their own journeys and it’s something I don’t take lightly. It’s so important to use tools like fitness & food and fit them into your life the way that works for you by doing things you enjoy & most importantly, doing things that make you FEEL good.
Thank you Women’s Health for letting me share a piece of my story which I hope inspires others to do the same, because you ever know who you’ll inspire.
Thank YOU all for your constant support & be true to you,
