This weekend was full of love, that’s for sure.

Love for many things…

Like when your boyfriend brings you starbucks & leaves you a cute note.

he’s a really great artist … Winking smile

The love for Buckwheat Powercakes…

topped with peanut fluff & fresh dried pears from a friend – thanks Annie!

-Recipe for the pancakes is the same at my [Buckwheat Waffles] but made into powercakes.

The love for local Farmers Markets…

IMG_7109

Apples, zucchini, peppers, delicata squash, & KABOCHA!

The best part? All of this was only $10! The peppers themselves were 3 for $2.

The love for roasted squash seeds….

IMG_7078

Delicata squash seeds sprayed then sprinkled with sea salt.

Roast at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

The love for anything PUMPKIN….even with ME on it!

IMG_7145

If you remember back in this post where a friend of Corey’s painted my Avatar for me as a surprise, I was so excited! Well, he really outdid himself & surprised me with ME ON A PUMPKIN! [I apologize for the lighting glaring off the pumpkin] The best part, it’s not a real pumpkin so I can keep it forever.

Special shout-out to Gary Vargo who is SO talented & totally surprised us on Friday night with this when we went out to meet some friends at a local restaurant.

IMG_7086

I even took my picture back to him so he could sign it.
Thank you again, Gary! It was so fun talking with you.

The love for anything pumpkin….even noodles!

IMG_7082

Organic Pumpkin, Ginger, & Rice noodles! Gluten free & they don’t get too soggy.

In all honesty, the ginger flavor isn’t too strong so it goes great with any topping.

The love for Spaghetti with a side of broccoli…

IMG_7087

#PowerPlate for the boy & I = noodles with sauce, fresh basil,
olives, & a side of roasted OLD BAY  broccoli.

This reminds me of childhood – my grandma, Mimi, used to always make homemade spaghetti with a side of broc! Roasted Broc was actually frozen, sprayed with spray, then topped with OLD BAY seasoning & pepper and roasted at 400 for about 25 minutes or so until crispy.

The love for #POWERBOWLS….

with heirloom tomatoes & a cilantro lime vinaigrette.

The love for WEDDINGS & every [Pinterest] idea that goes along with them…

IMG_7139

My gym twin, Jenna, got married to Corey’s college buddy Alec! These two are adorable together & we often get to workout with them whenever I’m in town. They got married on Saturday and the weather couldn’t have been any better.

IMG_7099

All of Corey’s wrestling buds were in town & clean up nicely! Winking smile

Brett, Matt, Billy, Corey, & Pat.

Myself & my handsome wedding date!

IMG_7123

The GORGEOUS venue for the wedding was at Jenna’s parents where they have acres of land & a beautiful barn.

IMG_7122

Could the weather be any more beautiful?

IMG_7124

The favors were homemade “Honeymoon Shine” in Peach Pie & Apple Pie flavors. SO GOOD.

They also had homemade pickles for everyone as well.

IMG_7125

All of the guests signed this vintage chair.

IMG_7126

The  BEAUTIFUL with lights & sheer fabric made you forget you were even inside of a barn.

IMG_7141

The gorgeous bride did nothing but smile all day! I told Jenna this to her face, but, when the church doors opened and she walked down the isle- it took my breath away. The sun radiated off of her gorgeous skin & her smile was as white as her dress. She was so happy all day & even told me later on that her cheeks hurt from smiling so much.

IMG_7178

We of course had to end the night taking advantage of the photo booth for the guests.

Gosh, aren’t we adorable? Winking smile  ha! I love this kind of stuff. So fun for everyone!

We got to keep one copy & we put the other into a photo book with a message for the couple.

Can you feel the love from this weekend? I can’t believe how fast it went but after looking back at these pictures I am so thankful for the family & friends that I have in my life. To be able to enjoy yourself so much & really take in these moments is what living is all about.

I hope you felt some love this weekend & are ready to take on whatever this week may bring.
