Powermeal A Day- “PURPLE”

Today’s POWERMEAL A DAY CHALLENGE TOPIC IS PURPLE! And one of recent favorite purple foods is BEETS! Two different ways that I’ve been preparing them. ROASTED & FRIED! Roasted Beets 1 Beet 3 TB Olive Oil Sea Salt & Pepper 1) Chop your beet into chunks I promise this is not a murder scene, I just thought my cutting board looked cool after I chopped beets, watermelon, & mango put beets into a pan (I used a foil pan) add your olive oil and seasonings & mix together! MIRRORLESSMONDAY–My first 5k!

hi all! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! First off, ya'll know I'm obsessed with INSTAGRAM & @InstagramFitness featured me and I was so excited! check it out here ! Today is MIRRORLESSMONDAY And today I’m proud of that fact that I ran my first 5k yesterday morning without training or being a big “runner”. hi all! ahhh let me just say, I have SO many things to fill you in on!! 1) this week has been awesome with student teaching! ZUMBA is becoming the new thing at the school & I’m so glad I introduced it to the students! They have been loving it & I’ve been teaching 6 classes a day! It’s safe to say, I practically bathe in vanilla bean NOEL body spray (which I think I have an obsession with) Anyway, I can’t wait to share some videos of our dances! Hi all! I hope you're enjoying your day! Update: I've been loving student teaching lately... I introduced Yoga & Zumba to the students and they are LOVING it! That also means that I am teaching 5 30 minute Zumba classes a day along with an after school class that the students requested that I teach! I definitely am beat at the end of the day but I love it! The size of a PowerCake

Hey all! So I've gotten some questions about the size of my powercakes And I thought I would explain my theory behind them! ;] A POWERCAKE is usually one of my meals. & I typically eat 5-6 meals a day. I try to make each meal balanced. So for example; if someone eats oatmeal, egg whites, & fruit with some type of healthy fat for a usual breakfast; I basically just combine all of those ingredients into ONE powercake!
