Gooooodmorning everyone! Red heart How are we on this fine Saturday? It’s been a productive one over here! Got up early to take a spinning class this morning which I haven’t taken in such a long time! I missed it. I used to go once a week in college with a group of girlfriends and I forgot how much I really enjoyed it. It’s rare that I’m home on the weekends so I took advantage of it & got up early for class then ran all of my errands, stopped by Whole Foods, ate a HUUUGE stack of powercakes to refuel the bod, & made a delish coffee latté with coconut milk all before noon!

Last night I went to a high school football game with a group of friends. I have to give props to this years student section! They are creating all of these awesome ideas for the section and last night they all started off wearing black shirts, then started a chant, then all tossed up pink chalk into the sky & flipped their shirts around to pink to reveal once the cloud blew away. How cool is that?! I managed to snag a quick [blurry] pic but I thought it was too cool not to share.

After a fun night with the friends, I was up & at it this morning for the 830am spin class. I rocked my UA Spin Tank (how appropriate?) with my stretch woven capris, monza shoes & charged cotton hoodie since it’s like, cold now. Merp! Spinning was such a fun switch up from my usual routine throughout the week & the energy in the room was awesome for it being early on a Saturday.

I also [thoroughly] wiped down with an Action Wipe post workout so that people wouldn’t run in the opposite direction when I walked into Whole Foods Winking smile. Thanks to my friends at Harbinger Fitness for stocking me up! I keep a big bunch in my UA backpack for when I’m on the go. They are loaded with therapeutic essential oils of tea tree and eucalyptus & combined with other all natural, plant derived ingredients.

Speaking of Harbinger Fitness – I’m so excited to announce the THREE randomly chosen winners of the [Palm Grip Giveaway!]

Alright guys, I’m off to get organized before I channel my inner Betty Crocker. I will be at a wrestling event tomorrow with my table set up where I am bringing enough powercakes for 50 wrestlers! Looks like my kitchen & I will be spending a lot of time together today before the boy & I head out to dinner for a date night Winking smile

Enjoy your Saturday!

I’m sure the wrestlers will all be happy, though you’ll be in the kitchen all day and night if you’re making enough for 50! Happy cooking and happy date night 😉

Hey Kasey, I got a food and fitness question for you. Years ago I followed a typical body builder diet. Lots of brown rice, chicken, tuna broccili..etc. I looked decent but my god did i hate meal time. I was soooooo paranoid about eating the wrong thing at the wrong time that I never varied my meals and therefor got burnt out. I read your blog all the time and am so inspired by your food. .ok ok getting to my question! Do you following eating “plan” ….certain foods at certain times….do you limit carbs, count calories. It seems to me you follow the “if its healthy and good I’m gonna eat it” attitude. I’m trying to get back into fitness like I used too and want to do it in a way I won’t get burnt out food wise. I just dont want to Have to obsess about my food. I’m sorry if you’ve covered this before!:) thank you for your help!

  4. Most doctors today, will be able to give you some sort of test to measure certain areas of your system that you feel
are lacking or that the Dr. Calories from protein foods (meats,
fish, eggs, dairy) send a different message to your body.
s biological value is so high, more often than not 100% of it is used in
the rebuilding of lean muscle tissue and very little is ever wasted.
