Cheesy Tuna Cakes

  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 Tablespoon of Flax Seed Meal
    (optional, but added nutrients
and made it stick together more!)
  • 1 Wedge of Garlic&Herb Laughing Cow Cheese
(love these! only 35 calories a wedge!!)
  • Tablespoon of Nutritional Yeast
    (optional)

Also in the mix was :

  • Dried Onion

  • Shot of mustard!

I personally used my hands to mix these up!

Then made them into 3 individual cakes

And put them in a medium-heated pan with some Olive Oil

After the flip:

I then plated them up with a small yam & a blob of hummus

(one of my addictions favorite toppings for anythinggg)

& of course my veggies!!

peas & broccoli just steamed in the microwave!

This is a great balanced meal of lean protein, healthy fat, & carbs!

Have you ever made this with a different flavor of the laughing cow cheese? Would the original flavor be fine?

if you are unable to have dairy (meaning no laughing cow cheese) would these tuna cakes still work out? I love tuna and was looking for more ways to prepare and eat the canned tuna, just wondering if they would work if i omitted the cheese?

These were AMAZING. I made mine with the sun dried tomato laughing cow cheese.
