I just mix 4 cups of cut up strawberries, raspberries etc, with 4 to 5 tablespoons of honey, or agave, or maple syrup etc, then mash it and stir in 4 tablespoons of chia seeds and 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and set it in the fridge for 4 hours or so, than separate in freezer containers and freeze, great when just made and great out of the freezer. To think, years ago I would pick 40 quarts of strawberries and than do the cooked jam, a long days process if not two. I picked 4 c of raspberries this morning and was done picking and making the jam in less than an hour.

This sounds delicious! We live overseas and don’t have a microwave. Would you recommend cooking it on the stove for a few minutes or perhaps thawing everything and giving it a few pulses in a food processor instead?
