One of my new favorite plant based ingredients
Goji Berries
goji

Goji berries have been used in Asian herbal medicine for over 5,000 years.
This bag contains 100% pure goji berries that are certified organic, kosher, vegan and raw.

The goji berry is one of the most nutrient-rich foods on earth.

It is a vegetarian form of protein, packed with essential amino acids,
rich in vitamin A and a good source of vitamin C.

Goji berries possess over 20 trace minerals and vitamins including zinc, iron, phosphorus,
riboflavin (B2), vitamin E as well as carotenoids, including beta-carotene.

These yummy berries have 4g of protein in ONE OUNCE!!  Winking smile

  4. I love this recipe and it will be the perfect breakfast tomorrow! I’ve never tried goji berries, but I have to say; I get very curious when passing them at the store. Orange will be super easy tomorrow…I’ve got tons of butternut squash in the fridge.

  5. Diana says:

Wow! Didn’t know Goji Berries had that much protein! I’m getting some this weekend! Thanks for the info. I also have everything to make this meal. Looks great as a postworkout meal for today :) I’ll just have to add cranberries for now instead of the Goji berries.

  6. Aubrey says:

  8. I’ve made this a few times, but in my Vitamix and it always comes out soupy…it’s not thick like yours! Can’t figure out why. Today I added some spinach to thicken it up…I guess I should start with less liquid (I’ve tried 1 1/2 cups and 1 cup). Hmmmn…

    • Kasey says:

I would definitely descrease the liquid! I am sorry it’s not working for you!! I promise it will if you reduce liquid & let sit for a while to “gel” ! hope this helps!!
