New opportunities with training, setting up events, & working towards a BIG announcement coming soon means for 3 hour productive business meetings…that are always better with Aladdin’s Eatery Len-Chili (half lentil soup half chili):
This weeks theme is PRODUCTIVENESS – seriously, so many projects coming together and the hard work is SO worth it. You guys are in for some upcoming awesomeness just sayinnnn & this just goes to show – STICK WITH YOUR GOALS! No matter if they take 1 day or months or years….put in that hard work out of that passion you have to truly make a difference for others and yourself. (insert high five) Productiveness is kinda like this LenChili…pretty awesome.
Speaking of events: Today I wanted to share with you information about a local event coming up on Tuesday, March 18th!
As many of you may know…my childhood friend Kyle Johnson On May 5, 2013, was running through the city he loved when a rare heart condition suddenly took his life.
This May 4, 2014 – join family and friends of Kyle as we race through the city to complete the Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon‘s half-marathon event in his honor.
Getting involved is simple. Click to www.PittsburghMarathon.com and register for the race. While most are signed up for the half-marathon, it is encouraged that anyone completing an event (relay, full marathon,
Whether you knew Kyle personally, have heard his story, or simply want to get involved – all are welcome to participate!
When prompted to “enter how you would like your personalized race number to read” please write in “Run4Kyle”. Just like that, you will join many others as we take down some Pittsburgh pavement for Kyle.

Log in to your personal marathon account. From there, click to My Events> Edit Registration Information> Scroll to the “personalized race number” and change it to Run4Kyle> Click continue at the bottom.

My girl & fellow Under Armour Women Ambassador Tasha, totally took my breath away whenever she posted that she will be coming to Pittsburgh to run in the Half Marathon with me in honor of her friend, Miles. Reasons why being an Under Armour Ambassador is so much more than clothes.
With so many people running in the marathon for their first time in Kyle’s honor, I thought – why not get everyone together to celebrate Kyle’s life, team up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and their Team In Training, and bring together some local professionals to teach a night of all types of Fitness others can use in their training! Which brings me to, Power Up Your Marathon Training Night!
Pure Athletex Fitness Club & myself are collaborating for a night filled with fitness, friends, & fun for a cause where all proceeds benefit The Kyle Chase Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund & The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Pittsburgh.
The night will consist of 15 minute fitness sessions where you will rotate between runner specific yoga, spin, interval training, body weight exercises, & TRX Suspension Training all taught by local Certified Personal Trainers & Fitness Instructors.
We will also have a Boston Marathon runner (my bittie) Sarah Olesky speaking on running hydration tips, fuel tips, and answering any questions you may have before finishing the night with announcing the winners of the donated auction baskets.
