Happy Friday all! Every time I type that, I think, where has this week gone?! It’s crazy how time can fly, especially whenever you’re busy. I came across this quote by one of my favorites, Clinton Kelly, & it sums up my week perfectly.
Do you ever feel like your to-do list is taking over and you feel stressed if you can’t do it all? Sometimes we have so much on our plates that we start doing things just to do them and not put in our 100% effort. I really like this quote because it reminds us to take a step back & take on each goal, no matter how big or small, with 100% effort instead of trying to get everything done quickly. Whether it’s sending that e-mail you’ve been meaning to send, or run that errand you’ve been meaning to run, take it all step by step & do each step fabulously. Each small step is still a step towards your accomplishment.
Maybe on your to do list is fitting in your workout for the day? We often need to remember our own goals within our responsibilities to everything else. No you’re not seeing double, I just happen to have always wanted a twin sister so I use my photo editors to play pretend! Anyway, my friends at Harbinger Fitness sent me a box of goodies & these hand grips are AWESOME! They are great for pull ups & also help grip the weights for my workouts.
What I like is that it’s a thin grip so they can flap onto your hand whenever you need them but can flap back onto your wrist to be out of the way when you don’t need them. They also help protect your hands – which is great because I deal with some hand eczema (dry skin) & this helps my hands not get too irritated by the weights; especially with the colder weather coming. Bonus points!!
You can also customize finger length by trimming along the top cut marks but be sure not to trim too much off sides or they won’t fold out of your way as nicely.
They were great for my last bicep/back workout where I started off with a 1000m row & I could flap the lining back to grip the rower, but then flap them back down to pick up the weights.
