Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

First off, ya'll know I'm obsessed with INSTAGRAM
& @InstagramFitness featured me and I was so excited!

Today is MIRRORLESSMONDAY
MIRRORMONDAY TM

And today I’m proud of that fact that I ran my first 5k yesterday morning
without training or being a big “runner”.

Obvi we all know that I’m more of a weight lifter & tabata kinda girl,
but I was able to run the 5k and felt amazing afterwards!

*Totally rockin the sparkly soul headband! which I looove!

My best friend Sarah runs marathons,
& I’ve posted about her amazing abilities before!
She is a coach to this “Girl’s On The Run” club
& yesterday they had their annual 5k!

I came to support Sarah & her team,
& I ended up running with one of the little girls & her dad!
Her name was Ava, and she had an amazing pace that totally inspired me to pace myself
(or to just keep up with her) Winking smile

All of the girls totally ROCKED IT!

My pre-race fuel consisted of some of my
“Sweet Potato Pie” with some added raisins
(for some added power)
&
CHIA POWER OMELET

5 Egg Whites
1 Scoop of Sunwarrior Protein Powder
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
1 TB of Chia Seeds

With one of my SWEET POTATO PIES!

Mixed together & then cooked on a medium heat pan with some coconut oil!

Then when I got home, I was STARVING
so I had some left overs from PAPACAKES amazing meal the night before!

He made tuna steaks & shrimp
(marinated in ORANGE INFUSED OLIVE OIL)

If you haven’t tried infused olive oil’s yet – what are you waiting for!?!?
OMG they are amazing.
I’ve been using them to make dressings & drizzling on everythinggggg.

Woke up & my stomach was hungry again; not surprised!

My metabolism is always kickin.

So I used my new obsessed orange infused olive oil
to make a DRESSING!

Mixed it with some fig infused balsamic vinegar & some liquid stevia
to put over sautéed kale, broccoli slaw, peppers, capers, avocado,
fresh organic berries & some grilled chicken added post-picture!

I enjoyed this AMAZING salad with a little Oxygen Mag
with the gorgeous Chady on the cover;
along with a liter of water!

So all in all, it was an AWESOME sunday
filled with fitness, clean foods, friends, & fun!

And today on #MIRRORLESSMONDAY
I am proud that I was able to run a 5k without really “training” for it.

It’s amazing what a FIT & HEALTHY body can accomplish!

If you truly take care of yourself, you are able to do so much!
remember that Winking smile

I’ll leave you with this…

"Victory isn't defined by wins or losses. It is defined by effort.
If you can truthfully say,
'I did the best I could, I gave everything I had,'
then you're a winner."
