hi all ![]()
If you missed my CARROT CAKE POWERCAKE
check it out here!
I saw this & thought it would be good for today.
So, I’m no sexist and I think this can also refer to guys as well.
In life, things will break you down but I truly believe
that it’s all about how you handle the situation.
If you let it get you down, it will bring you down.
But if you look at it as a new opportunity & challenge to turn things around,
then you will bounce back stronger than before!
So today, look in the mirror & see what you’re proud of,
not things that you need to “fix”.
It’s all about the way you look at a situation ![]()
So today, I’m proud of my strength that
I’ve been able to build over the years!

Speaking of strength, onto a
HAMSTRING & CALF CIRCUIT WORKOUT
I did each exercise for as many as possible!
between 15-20 reps.
1) Hamstring Curls
2) Toe Pointers – Pushing away with your toes
& really concentrating on your calves.
3) Half deadlifts- holding onto dumb bells,
(I used 25 lbs)
You start with a nice flat back, chin up,
knees bent at a 90 degree angle.
Then you use your hamstrings and
pull bringing the weights up to your knees,
then return back down to your toes
with the weights without touching the weights to the ground.
This really stretches out your hamstrings
& also strengthens them as well!
I did 4 rounds of this with about 2 minutes rest in between each set.
Great way to really target your hamstrings & calves!!
Hope you all enjoy your day!

I’m proud of the strength I’ve gained in my arms … I”m starting to see definition! Way to be such an inspiration, lady
Enjoy your Monday!
Love that quote & you are looking good!!!! I did me some legs too today & feeling it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Di a lot of other body parts too so proud of my great workout & not backing down no matter what my age!
You are one strong woman! LOVE working hams and calves. I’m such a sucker for training calves heavy. I could do it everyday if it was possible.
Great quote lady! Great workout, as always. I’ve been loving the definition I’ve gained in my shoulders, still a ways to go, but seeing the improvements even if its slow is pretty awesome.
I love those half deadlifts! I do them most of the time I do leg workouts and I am ALWAYS sore haha
I’m proud of my “big” legs today. Got me through 13.1 miles in Pittsburgh earlier in the month
Love the positive images you are sharing here Kasey! Strong is beautiful and you are living proof! Gorgeous!
