Hey all!  Happy Friday! SO glad you all enjoyed my Pumpkin Egg Nog Oat Cookies & Dark Chocolate Bark Holiday Recipes yesterday! You know how much I LOVE seeing others create the recipes & share them with me via Instagram or social media – totally makes my day! Around this time it’s always fun to experiment with the flavors of the season.  A big thank you to the ladies below for sharing with me!

So how was your week? Any highlights in particular? Today’s Friday Favorites is a few of my highlights from this week!

Our friends at KIND are just that…SO kind for sharing some of their new bars with the family! Papacakes takes one every day in his lunch & loves them. They sent us the Dark Chocolate Chili Almond – at first I was like ummmm…I don’t know if the chili will burn my mouth BUT after we all took a taste – we were all hooked! I’m not a huge fan of spicy spice so I would be the first to tell you if they were spicy but it just gives you a bit of a “hit” in the back of your throat but nothing overwhelming!

Even Abby cat liked them – she obviously tries to match her eye color to the types of bars she eats. And no, we didn’t feed her the bars but she did like playing with them under the tree. No need for expensive cat toys at our house – a foil ball or kind bars will do!

We also got to try out the Healthy Grains bars!

With the colder temps outside, a warm soup or chili is always on our weekly menu. Mamacakes makes a great turkey chili & I picked up some Beanito Chips to scoop it up with! I always need some crunch with my soup or chili.

Have you ever tried Beanitos?

SO good! Loaded with fiber & protein with minimal ingredients.

Also have still been loving my POWERBOWLS – this week this green combo went down of lettuce, red onion, roasted red pep, artichokes, tuna, & kalamata olives all tossed in a bowl then threw in nutritional yeast, coconut aminos, spoonful of hummus, minced garlic, spoonful of tahini, green onion, & Corey’s grandmas AMAZING homemade sweet pickles for the win!

Also added in a tsp of my favorite @supernutrient #nutrexhawaii Spirulina powder then tossed everything together for a big #powerbowl! I realized I forgot to take my spirulina caps that morning so I added the powder to my salad! Either way – I take spirulina & Astaxanthan everyday. You can read all about these products here with my trip to the farm in Hawaii!

I swear there is just something about pickles on a salad – don’t knock it til you try it!

You can find these on iherb.com – coupon code XUG228 as always for first time users.

I’m off to get some errands done before a Christmas Sweater Party tonight for Corey’s co-workers! I’ve got one of my mom’s old Holiday sweaters fully loaded with candy canes & shoulder pads! Can’t wait to share that with you guys – I bet you can’t wait either! ;]

Have a good one!!

BE TRUE TO YOU
