I am SO excited about this! I LOVE Tosca and I have all of the Eat-Clean books. AND, I just purchased the new Oxygen Magazine with her on the cover yesterday 🙂 The new kits are a great way for someone to start eating clean… It really helps to eliminate the confusion. SunWarrior is a great choice for protein powder and don’t even get me started in coconut oil and chia seeds 🙂

As for my goals for 2013, I do find that I start off with WAY to many. I am a list maker, so I usually sit down and make a pros/cons list to help me prioritize and manage my goals. I will narrow it down to about 3 each: family, fitness, fun and finances (aka… Professional “work” goals). I should do this in December so I am ready to go in January but… That is for another post 🙂 LOL

    HUGS to you and Mamacakes!

Hey Jason, after watching some of these videos, I want to try to train some pole techniques myself. Do you know any places to traar/leinn in Los Angeles?

  3. Luckily, no. I don’t set a lot of goals, only a few that I take pretty seriously. I don’t think I could juggle too many at once! 🙂

  4. I am trying to eat clean and about 30% of the time I totally falter simply because I don’t plan ahead due to being busy or simply running out of fresh produce to make a coherent meal. I love the idea of a starter kit- I have so much to learn in order to make clean eating simple!

I’ve just recently discovered your blog and I absolutely love it. I listened to your video blog and I’m somewhere in the stage of doing an obscene amount of cardio, just really getting into weights and counting calories 1200 per day to lose weight and I’ve lost the 5 kgs I’ve been trying to lose for 5 years. This might be a hard to answer question but how did you go from a diet mindset to a lifestyle mindset? I find I can do really well until social things come up and I find it hard at those events not to go crazy with my eating. I’ve still got 4 kgs to go but am finding it hard to push through.

Hi there! It’s great that you are making healthy changes! I honestly don’t have a perfect answer as to how I made it more a lfiestyle, I believe you’ve got to find that inside of you to make that change :] It’s not easy and sometimes I still struggle but it’s so much more freeing to live a lifestyle and not be on a “diet” by any means. I just eat healthy plant based foods how and when I want them, And I’ve found that once I truly let myself BE and eat the healthy foods without counting every calorie, I find my body tells me when I’m full and what foods I want. I eat a lot of veggies and plant based foods that make me feel good and I’ve found no weight gain so I lost that “fear” of gaining weight. When I go out, I either bring my own food or I just try to eat before I go and get something healthy when I’m out! I’m not afraid to ask for changes on menu’s for my food allergies or preferences!

      I hope this helps!

Yes it does thankyou very much! I think I’m going to start making some more smaller changes and build them up rather than trying to change everything radically from the start. My first step has been already starting to remove some if the ‘diet’ products that I know definitely have not been good for me. I’ve already started incorporating chia seeds into my diet and now I plan to start using coconut oil as well as just trying to focus more on fruit and veg 🙂

Going to the gym regularly has been hard for me lately. It’s like I let everything (life) get in the way. Once I stopped going it just made it harder and harder to get back. SO now I’m starting with 3 days a week at the gym, I know eventually it’ll make me feel so much better and I’ll want to go more often. When I do go to the gym regularly I tend to eat healthier, they just go hand in hand for me!
