Happy Sunday everyone! How’s your weekend going? I hit the outdoors today for a morning run that turned into a stair workout…
I originally planned to do a long run, but then remembered these legit steps close to campus. So I ran for about 50 minutes then finished with some stair exercises which I’ll be posting soon! Thank goodness I had some battery left in my iPhone to film some of the workout to share! Since the weather is FINALLY turning (hope I don’t jinx it) I love getting outside and hopefully can inspire you guys to do the same!
Speaking of outdoors – yesterday was a beautiful morning for a walk! My Pap and I participated in Pittsburgh’s 5k MS walk to raise awareness and funds for multiple sclerosis.
We met a lot of inspiring people that help to remind you to really live each day to the fullest. The walk was around the city and a chilly morning turned into a lovely 70 degree afternoon to snap some pictures.
We were a part of Team Pittsburgh for Edible Arrangements which meant we definitely had to toast with some fruit afterwards!
I’m very thankful to have a Grandpa like my Pap for many reasons…not only is he one of my biggest supporters, reads my blog daily, emails me positive quotes of the day every morning, and not to mention, was always one of the first people to arrive at every track meet or soccer game growing up…but who also shares a passion for helping others.
He is basically the energizer bunny and is always on the move. He is involved with so many organizations, charities, and is the master networker- always looking to connect people! With starting my business, be believed in me no matter what hurdle I would come to.
He’s taught me to never give up and always continue to use my passion for good & to help others. I’m very blessed to have him in my life and wanted to take a minute to let him know that. Hi pap! 😉
